I Gave In, I Gave Up

When i was little, I was the perfect child

As I grew older, I had to try hard to stay good

Then finally one day I just gave in

I gave into depression and anorexia and...

I gave into life, I had lost the power to fight

My family slowly seperated from me

I now stay in my room like a hermit

I gave into being alone, people telling me they're there

They are not, I gave up hope

I also gave up on love and life

I tried to get rid of life, sadly it stayed

I didn't know much life meant, but still

I gave up on everything I knew

Never knowing when I'll get it all back.
