The Heartbeat
One fateful night
A girl fast asleep on her pillow
... Has a visitor
The visitor, indescribable
He's dark, gloomy, filled to the brim with dread
He looms over her
Comtemplating on how to take her
So he stops her heart, just like that
She doesn't die
He waits
Her hearts starts to beat again
Thump, Thump, Thump, Thump, Thump
He tries again
She still lives
Thump, Thump, Thump
He leaves as silently as he came
Knowing this one is going to be a fighter
Still hearing the
Thump, Thump, Thump, Thump, Thump
